Joseph Mesa
Joseph Mesa is a professional driver trainer and transportation safety professional with more than thirteen years in the trucking industry, including hands-on over-the-road experience and real-world driver training.
Before transportation, he spent sixteen years in purchasing and cost accounting, three as a computer systems administrator, plus time in private security and warehousing. Forklifts, loading docks, purchase orders, and freight costs shaped how he sees both the road and the business behind every load.
He writes the way he teaches — plainly, practically, and with respect for the person behind the wheel. His work focuses on DOT readiness, inspections, road discipline, safety habits, professional standards, and the mindset it takes to build a career that lasts.
His faith in Jesus Christ anchors the rest of it and informs the honesty, responsibility, and service he brings to his work.
He lives in California's Central Valley. The goal behind all of it stays the same: help drivers take pride in the craft, protect what they've worked for, and become the kind of professional other people can trust.
Why I write
